Batter:

natural bran |
375 ml |

3/4 cup |
ROBIN HOOD All Purpose Flour |
175 ml |

baking soda |

1/2 cup |
packed brown sugar |

buttermilk |
250 ml |

Filling:

COMBINE all ingredients in saucepan. Simmer 5 minutes. Set aside to cool. |
Batter:

COMBINE first 4 dry ingredient in large mixing bowl. Beat remaining ingredients together to blend. Add with date mixture to dry ingredients. Mix well. Spoon into 12 greased muffin cups. |

BAKE at 375°F (190°C) for 20 to 25 minutes, or until top springs back when lightly touched. |
